Ida Matthews Litchfield - Chapter# 19

The purpose of this organization shall be to assist the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV)
in its historical, educational, benevolent, and social functions, and to educate the public and ourselves about
Confederate History, and to honor and preserve its symbols. The Society is organized exclusively
for one or more of the purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including
for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations
under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Cookbooks are ready for sale !!!!!

We have worked very hard to get them ready, now we need your
help to get them sold. All the money we rise will go toward
helping the SCV and OCR with Christmas, buying crosses of
honor, flags and cemetery clean up's as well as repairing stones.

The Horry County Schools have asked for our support. We are accepting collections
for the under privileged children of Horry County. They are needing Children's clothing
(sizes 6-10), baby wipes, soaps, and socks. You can bring these items to the next SCV
meeting. All help will be greatly appreciated.
